DP World manages almost 40% of the goods flowing in and out of Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Freight deliveries are running about two weeks behind schedule, a spokesman said by phone. DP World has said it may take weeks for normal services to resume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delay of 5-7 days on an average can be expected in the weeks if the industrial action is not resolved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong><u>Cy<\/u><\/strong><strong><u>ber Hack ( Now resolved)<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A hack on DP World on Friday and a subsequent shutdown over the weekend left 30,000 containers waiting to be distributed<strong><u><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>System Issues (now resolved)<\/u><\/strong><br>DP World experienced system issues for a number of hours in various terminals, causing significant disruption to operations. DP World senior management however allayed fears confirming that the system issues today were&nbsp;<strong><em><u>not<\/u><\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;another cyber incident.<br><br><strong><u>Protected Industrial Action (PIA)<\/u><\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>DP World have today received notice from the Construction, Forestry, Maritime, Mining and Energy Union (CFMMEU)&nbsp;of the<strong><em>withdrawal<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;of certain<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DP World has received further industrial action notices from the CFMMEU at the West Swanson Terminal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A summary of the planned stoppages are outlined below for the dates Monday 27th Nov through to Monday 4th Dec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Attached is a visual aid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PLANNED STOPPAGES<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>27th November 2023- 4th December 2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 2-hour stoppage starting at 0400hr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 2-hour stoppage starting at 1200hr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 2-hour stoppage starting at 2000hr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 8hr work halt after ship docks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Bans on overtime, extensions, call ins and upgrades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Friday 1st Dec 0600hrs \u2013 Saturday 2nd Dec 0600hrs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 24hr Ban on loading and unloading trucks<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Protected industrial actions for the following locations \/ dates :&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>All other dates and times are as per the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ftalliance.us6.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=e9d77c8ae8&amp;id=ee825d41d1&amp;e=09bd84f182\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">full list of protected industrial action<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With more strikes planned this week and next, the company is weighing options to get back to normal operations.
